Gurdaspur District issues guidelines to be followed under Lockdown 4.0

The Gurdaspur District on May 17, 2020, has decided to withdraw the order relating to the curfew imposed on March 23, 2020 and issues new guidelines that is to be followed during the relaxation of the lockdown. 

 The movement of the people is prohibited from 7 pm to 7 am and the movement is only allowed for essential activities. People above 65 years and below 10 years are not allowed to go out and the standard operating procedure is to be followed. 

 Schools, colleges, pubs, bars, gyms, swimming pools, parks and malls are to remain shut along with the temples. No religious gatherings are allowing till the further notice of the government. Inter-district and intra-district movement of vehicles is allowed. The movement of trucks is allowed for the transportation of goods from one place to another. Empty trucks are allowed for movement as well. 

 Shops and establishments shall remain functional from 7 am to 6 pm. Medical services are to be open 7 days a week. The shops coming under the category of rotational products shall be open for 3 days a week. The shops are not allowed to display their products outside. The parking is to be done at a common place. Under the purview of violation, the citizens shall be charged under Indian Penal Code.
