Barnala District issues new guidelines amid Covid-19

The Barnala District on May 18, 2020, keeping in view the current situation of Covid-19 and the phase of Lockdown 4.0. issues new guidelines for the district of Barnala.

The instructions are as follow:

 Schools, colleges and all educational institution would remain close and only online mode will be permitted.

 Restaurants, hotels, religious places and all hospitality services will remain close except those which are being used as quarantine centre by the State Government.

 All social, political and other gatherings of similar nature is prohibited.

 Religious congregations will be strictly prohibited.

 Inter-State and Intra-State movement of passengers vehicles shall be permitted.

 Sports complexes would open without any spectator.

 Industries and industrial establishment can operate in both rural and urban areas.

 Agriculture and construction activities will be allowed without any restrictions.

 E-commerce will be permitted for all goods.

 The operational hour will be between 7 AM to 6 PM.

 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler movement will be allowed subject to compliance of SOP by State transport Department.

 All inter-state and intra state movement of passenger vehicles will be allowed subject to compliance of SOP by State transport Department.

 No separate passes would be allowed for industries, offices, employees etc.

Violation of these guideline measures shall be punishable under 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act besides other legal provision.
