MoHFW issues additional guidelines for the use of personal protective equipment for the health care workers

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has issued additional guidelines for the rational use of personal protective equipment and setting up proper health functionaries for health care workers and other working in Non- COVID hospitals.

All the hospitals that are equipped with COVID blocks should follow proper guidelines for the safety of the health care workers. The health care worker should use N95 masks, wear goggles and latex gloves along with face shield. Patients suffering from other diseases shall be kept in other wards.

The measures should be followed by all the health care workers and strict preventive and hygienic guidelines are to be followed.
