Government of Goa imposes certain restrictions or ban in North Goa

The State Government of Goa on May 03, 2020, impose certain restrictions or ban in North Goa District.

The following restrictions or ban are as under:

1. Movement of all individuals for all non-essential activities between 7.00 p.m to 7.00 a.m.

2. All shops or establishments except essentials from 7.00 p.m to 7.00 a.m.

3. Restaurants.

4. Tea Shops, Pan Shops.

5. Other food shops or joints (Dhabas, Gaddas)

6. Street food vendors.

7. Beach shacks.

8. All other types of eateries.

9. Gymnasiums.

10. Sports complexes

11. Auditoriums / community halls, assembly halls and similar places

12. Bars

13. Cinema Halls / Theatres

14. Swimming Pools

15. Casinos

16. River Cruises

17. Night Clubs

18. Multiplexes

19. Consumption of liquor in public places.

20. Shopping Malls

21. Entertainment Malls

22. Spa / Massage Parlours

23. All religious Places / Places of workships for public

24. Movement of all persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women, and children below the age of 10 years, except for meeting essential requirements and for health purposes.

25. Sale and consumption of Pan, Gutka ad Tobacco in public places.

26. Hospitality services other than those used for housing Health / Police / Government Officials / Health Care workers, Stranded person including tourists and those used for quarantine facilities.

However, all restaurants and other eating joints will be permitted to operate their kitchen only for the purpose of Home delivery or take away.

Any person contravening this order will be punishable under Indian penal Code.

This Order will come into effect with immediate effect.
