Government of Odisha extends the lockdown till May 17, 2020

The State Government of Odisha on May 03, 2020, in supersession of all previous orders related to lockdown, extend the lockdown in the entire State of Odisha for a further period of two weeks and lay down the new stipulations or guidelines for strict implementation with effect from May 04, 2020 till the midnight of May 17, 2020.

New guidelines will be applicable based on the risk profiling of the districts into Red (Hotspot), Orange and Green Zones.

 Red Zones or Hotspots Districts: Districts will be defined as Red Zones by taking into account total number of active cases, doubling rate of conformed cases, extent of testing and surveillance feedback.

 Orange Zone: Districts which are neither defined as Red nor as Green Zones, will be Orange Zones.

 Green Zones: Districts with Zero confirmed case till date or Districts with no confirmed case in the last 21 days will be defined as Green Zones.

In addition to the above mentioned classification Government of Odisha also specified the activities which are restricted and which are not in Green, Red and Orange Zones.
