The Odisha Health and Welfare Department on May 03, 2020, categorize districts into Red, Orange and Green for the week starting from May 04, 2020, based on the guidelines formulated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

 Red Category: Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, BMC

 Orange Category: Khurda (except BMC), Sundergarh, Kendrapada, Koraput, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Balangir, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Ganjam

 Green Category: Angul, Bargarh, Boudh, Sambalpur, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabrangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Paygada, Sonepur, Cuttack, Puri.

Further, if any district in green category reports a positive case in future, it will be treated as orange.
