Government of Goa orders all private Medical Practitioners or consultants to reopen the clinics or laboratory

The Goa Directorate of Health Services on April 19, 2020, orders all private medical practitioners or consultants to reopen the clinics or laboratory with immediate effect and resume operations to render health services to the people in need specifically in rural areas.

However, those practitioners above 65 years of age and those with co-morbidities, Antenatal and parent of children below age of 5 years may be encouraged to provide services through Tele-consultation.

Necessary actions will be taken for any violation of the provisions of the Epidemic Disease Act, 1897.
